EFFECTIVE 07/01/2024. WRONG WAY DUIs ARE CLASS A MISDEMEANORS.
A Utah DUI occurring in a wrong way situation is now a Class A Misdemeanor. See Utah Code 41-6a-502(2).
If at the time of the DUI the driver violated Section 41-6a-709 [One Way Traffic Code], other than a roundabout, it is now a new Class A DUI Misdemeanor.
